| Just a line to say heard your performance at
Tameside contest and loved it so made a special effort to listen to you at
Buxton Contest and thought it was fantastic. In my opinion I thought you had
done enough to come higher up than you did Ce La Vie. You Can be very proud of what you achieved I thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely continue to follow your progress - Well Done! |

| I was at Tameside contest and just wanted to say how much I enjoyed your performance of Dark side of the Moon. I have never heard the piece before and it an amazing piece and was superbly played. I missed hearing the eventual winners, as they were drawn band number one, but heard bands three to twelve and thought you were head and shoulders above the rest. Your soloists played very well and you had a great band sound. I'll be sure to look out for you in the future. Keep up the good work! |

| Just a note to say it's good to see the band
on good form again. As an ex member during the eighties glory days, I
experienced some great times and successes. If I can ever offer my
assistance feel free to get in touch. Good luck at the areas! |

Hi, Just been looking around the new site and wanted to say it looks great, very smart indeed. Heard the band at the recent Christmas concert at St. Marys' Church and thought you were absolutely fantastic. I'm looking forward to a day trip to Blackpool to hear you play at the up coming areas. All the very best of luck |

Great to read your website. I was a member of the band from 1953/4 under Fred Cowburn. I remained in with Willie Wood as a front row cornet player until 1959 when I transferred to the senior band as 2nd horn. Aged 14, I was the youngest member of the winning Besses o'th Barn Band at the British Open Championship at Belle Vue in 1959. I remained in the senior band until 1969. I now live in the West Yorkshire town of Guiseley.
Best wishes to everyone in the band.
