band was formed in 1943 and has now
been making music for over 60 years. The band is based in Whitefield
just outside Manchester and regularly give
fine concert and contest performances both in the local area and
further a field.

Boys Band Summer
Concert
Besses Boys were please to host their annual summer
concert at heaton park working mens club. The band played a selection of
from their recent performances plus some new pieces. A full review of
the concert will be on the news page soon.
Boys Band Enjoy
Successful Solo Contest
Slightly later than planned it was time for Besses
Boys to once again hold their annual Solo Contest, a full day event
where each member of both the training band and main band are invited to
perform an unaccompanied solo for both an adjudicator and audience. A
great day was had by all with over 25 participants, a full review of the
day can be seen on our news page.
